Infants

(6 weeks to 23 months)

Infants are nurtured, and are given individual care and attention, by holding, singing, rocking and talking. This aids in their early development. Feeding, sleeping and other activities are all individualized and will complement your family home schedule. During the day, a Daily Report is completed about your infant's happenings and activities in which you are more than welcome to continue to fill this report during the evening and return to their child’s teacher the next morning.

Little Scholars provides, wipes, Parents Choice iron enriched formula, Gerber rice cereal, Gerber fruits and vegetables, and puffs until your infant is on regular table food at no additional cost. Once your infant begins table foods a menu is provided to families to help communicate with us which table foods are being introduced and approved, by you, the parent(s).

All classrooms including our infant rooms participate in the HighReach Learning curriculum. Children begin learning the moment they are born therefore we being our lessons with our infants. Our teachers create weekly age appropriate lessons such as language, music and movement, relationship building, fine and large motor, as well as art and sensory activities.
